Leaders of Nonprofits Get a Little Support

Ken Saxon was shocked at how little support was being given to Santa Barbara County’s nonprofit executives — shocked to the point of creating and facilitating Courage to Lead.

Courage to Lead is a retreat program designed to help train, connect and rejuvenate leaders of local nonprofits over a 13-month period, Mr. Saxon told the News-Press. Over the course of the 13 months, participants meet for a total of 11 days, broken into four 2-day retreats and one 3-day retreat.
