In January 2023, we are launching our monthly  “Mindful Presence” Community of Practice.  We have based this offering on your expressed interest and survey feedback.  Please join us if you feel so moved.

What is the “Mindful Presence Community of Practice” program?

Like the original four-week class, this new offering will center on the kind of work we did together in our “Mindful Presence” class – around mindfulness, embodied practice, intention setting, presence, and peer community.  We’ll be deepening into some of the areas we already touched on in the class, as well as exploring new themes.  And like with all ongoing LFW programs, we’ll be creating a place of ongoing practice to support and connect mission-driven leaders like you.

Session Dates & Timing

The sessions will be on Zoom, and will be 90 minutes.  We asked you in our survey about a desired Monday meeting time.  The group was pretty split between beginning of the day or end of day, so our tentative plan is to alternate between the two.  The proposed dates and times of our sessions are:

  3. March 27, 9:00-10:30AM
  4. April 24, 4:00-5:30PM
  5. May 22, 9:00-10:30AM
  6. June 26, 4:00-5:30PM

  9. September 25, 9:00-10:30AM
  10. October 23, 4:00-5:30PM
  11. November 20, 9:00-10:30AM
  12. December 18, 4:00-5:30PM

About Our Facilitators

Ken Saxon is Board Chair of Leading From Within (LFW) and an instructor in LFW’s Courage to Lead program. In 2021, Ken completed the Training in Mindfulness Facilitation program of the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior.




Jennifer Reitz is a Master Somatic coach, trainer and organizational consultant with over 20 years experience in leadership, team development, organizational change, and strategic planning – as well as a Leading From Within board member. She works with leaders and organizations to increase their personal and professional satisfaction and effectiveness by bringing their actions into alignment with their deepest commitments and goals.
