2019 Emerging Leaders Alumni Leader Circles
REGISTRATION FORM

To all Emerging Leaders alumni:

Please register below, by February XX, 2019, if you want to participate in a 2019 Emerging Leaders Alumni Leader Circle.

About Emerging Leaders Alumni Leader Circles:
Each of you have had a year-long experience with a Peer Learning Circle in ELP, and you’ve experienced how this kind of structured peercoaching format can support you as a leader and a human being.
In 2019, our Emerging Leaders Alumni Network has decided to launch a new program of alumni Leader Circles.  We will form circles for the coming year (March – November 2019), based on the timing that works best for people to meet.
This is simply an opportunity.  Peer Learning Circle participation is not automatic, nor is it mandatory – it is simply an opportunity to engage with your fellow alumni in a particular structure. Alumni who would like to take advantage of the PLC opportunity in 2019 should understand it is a one-year commitment requiring full participation before signing up.
By February XX, please note your preferred days and times to meet, and sign up for a mandatory training in late February, if you want to participate in 2019.
Many of the alumni of our Courage to Lead program have found their alumni Leader Circle process to be a trustworthy structure for supporting each other over time — and some have been meeting for many years. Leader Circles provide an opportunity to learn from each other and deepen our self-awareness, as well as advancing our ability to support others in their growth.   Our hope is that these small and supportive communities can help us tackle issues with creativity, inspiration, resilience, and confidence.
How it will work:
The core idea of the Leader Circle design is peer coaching. Leader Circles will meet monthly in-person for 9 months in 2019.  Each participant is invited to bring a question, challenge, or priority to the circle, where they will each receive 15 minutes of focused support by the others around this issue.  The Circle supports you based on your request of open honest questions or resource sharing.   Each 2-hour circle begins with a time for reconnection and checking-in, and ends with time for a brief closing circle. The goal is for each participant to leave each session with tangible and actionable benefit, in addition to reconnecting with our peer coaching practice.
There will be approximately 5 people in each circle, and we will assemble the groups based upon those who want to meet at a similar time and are located not too distant from one another.  Each person who chooses to participate in Leader Circles will make a commitment of 9 months participation with their circle (March – November 2019).  At the end of 2019, alumni will have a chance to consider if they want to participate again for the next period of time (2020).  So this is not an indefinite commitment – you can opt in for one year and opt out for another, or you can opt out for now and opt in next year.
Getting Started:
Ken Saxon will offer registrants a 90-minute session in late February.  The training is required for all participants.  There will be two training sessions, so you can choose the one that works best for you.  The Leader Circle process is a powerful one, but only when everyone is fully committed and clearly understands the process.

You can find a thorough description of the process here.

If you want to participate this year in an alumni Leader Circle, please register by February XX by completing the short sign-up form below.

We are very excited about continuing this program, and if it speaks to you and you are willing to commit, please sign up!
