Rebecca Anderson is the Director of Advancement at Midland School in Los Olivos where she manages fundraising, alumni relations and communications efforts. Prior to joining Midland in 2013, Rebecca served as the Director of Development for the Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara, where she was responsible for leading development programs and worked with the Foundation Board to raise over $8 million annually. Rebecca holds a B. A. in Sociology from the University of California Santa Cruz and an M. A. in Organizational Management from Antioch University. She earned a CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive), and is certified in negotiation and mediation. She was one of fifteen young professionals to participate in Leading From Within’s 2013 Emerging Leaders Program. Rebecca is past president of the Santa Barbara/Ventura Counties Chapter Association of Fundraising Professionals Board, is a former trustee of Santa Barbara Middle School, and was a member of the CALM Board of Directors. Rebecca and her husband live in Santa Barbara with their two children.
