Emerging Leaders Program Commitment

Congratulations on your acceptance into the Emerging Leaders Program!

Emerging Leaders is a 10-month leadership experience designed to strengthen your leadership alongside a cohort of peers who are committed to making a meaningful impact in their organizations and communities.

As with any meaningful learning experience, you will get out of the program what you put into it. Participants are expected to attend all sessions, complete learning between sessions, actively engage in discussions and activities, and contribute to the learning community.

Please complete this Commitment Form by Friday, August 7, 2026. We maintain a waitlist of qualified applicants, so if you are unable to make this commitment, we ask that you let us know promptly so we may offer your place to another applicant.

Your Commitment

Attendance & Participation

Please carefully review the program dates below and confirm that you are available to attend all sessions. If you have an unavoidable conflict, please let us know as soon as possible.

We also ask that you consider whether you expect to remain living or working in the region and engaged in the social sector throughout the duration of the program.

Between Sessions

Participants should expect approximately one to two hours of learning between monthly sessions. This may include reading articles, reflection activities, completing assignments, meeting with colleagues or community members, or exploring your organization in greater depth within the context of the program. Participants are expected to arrive at each session fully prepared.

Program Investment Fee

The actual cost of the Emerging Leaders Program is approximately $6,000 per participant. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and funders, this cost has already been significantly subsidized.

The participating organization is responsible for the following Program Investment Fee:

$2,500 for organizations with annual operating budgets under $1 million
$3,500 for organizations with annual operating budgets of $1 million or more

The Program Investment Fee is due prior to the start of the program.

If paying the investment fee in a single payment creates a hardship for your organization, please contact us before the program begins to discuss possible payment arrangements.

Program Investments*
The actual cost of participating in the Emerging Leaders Program is approximately $6,000 per participant. You and your organization are responsible for the remaining program fee:
- $2,500 for Organizations with budgets under $1 million
- $3,500 for Organizations with budgets over $1 million
