Elizabeth is Co-Executive Director at Leading From Within where she focuses on innovation & growth, operations, and the long-term financial sustainability of the organization.
She is a recognized leader in the field of social entrepreneurship having previously founded and scaled Sustainable Health Enterprises (SHE), a pioneering and award winning social venture recognized by the Gates Foundation, Smithsonian, and World Economic Forum among others. Through her work with SHE, Elizabeth sparked a global movement and market for affordable menstrual hygiene products for girls and women in resource-constrained communities.
Elizabeth started her career in the private sector in New York City and ever since then, she’s been utilizing those skills for social good. Over her 20+ year career, she has been starting up or helping grow markets, movements, and organizations around the world at IMS (now IQVIA), the Clinton Foundation, and the World Bank.
She is a Fulbright Scholar, has an MBA and MPA-International Development from Harvard and a BA from the University of Notre Dame. Despite all the academic acronyms, Elizabeth thinks her best education has come from talking with those sitting next to her on buses around the world.
