Address at Stanford’s Center for Social Innovation

Ken Saxon Speaks at Center for Social Innovation 40th Anniversary Celebration

The 10-year-old Center for Social Innovation and the 40-year-old Public Management Program celebrated the school’s 40-year commitment to educating socially-conscious leaders. At the CSI/PMP 40th Anniversary Celebration in October 2011, Ken Saxon spoke about founding Courage to Lead to build support and community around nonprofit executive leaders.

Following a successful business career as an entrepreneur, building and then selling First American Records Management (FARM) Company, Ken Saxon put his skills to work in the nonprofit sector as a board leader, facilitator, and coach. It was there that he was inspired to meet and work with many nonprofit leaders — heroic people doing critical work.
