Interim Emerging Leaders Community Coordinator

Jordan is the Interim Community Coordinator for the Emerging Leaders program (ELP) alumni while our Operations Manager, Sarah Harris, is on parental leave. Jordan organizes events, continuing education, and workshops to continue the learning experience and professional development for our ELP alumni community. He is part of the fifth cohort (2017) of ELP, and has graciously stepped into this role of leadership for our active alumni network during the summer months.

Jordan is the Communications Manager at the Santa Barbara Foundation, overseeing a broad variety of communications activities that promote and enhance the foundation’s identity, including public relations, digital marketing, social media, publications, media relations, advertising, and events. He is a UCSB graduate, and is well recognized as founder of Project IV Love, which serves as a platform to garnish donations for the creation of a permanent Memorial Public Art Installation in Isla Vista, California that honors and remembers the victims who died due to the tragic event on May 23, 2014. Jordan is also involved in a number of volunteer activities in town within our nonprofit sector, exemplifying what it means to be an emerging leader in Santa Barbara and beyond.
