Near the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, First5 Santa Barbara County and VIVA Social Impact Partners commissioned a series of interviews with families and representatives from community-based organizations, school districts and agencies across the social sector. The stories that have arisen highlight themes and topics all of us are struggling with.

On Thursday, October 15th at 4-5 pm, we invite you into a collaborative space open to all leaders in our social sector – program alumni, partners and friends – to speak about these shared experiences and potentially provide insight on how our social sector leaders can respond now and in the future. Our facilitators, Michelle Robertson (First5) and Laura Bowen (VIVA Social Impact Partners), will be sharing the community stories they’ve captured in “snapshots” for an open reflection.
